Our laboratory is based on disaster prevention water engineering, focusing on understanding water-related phenomena in rivers and watersheds and applying this knowledge to flood risk reduction and resilient communities.
We combine numerical modeling, field observations, and data analysis to better understand water-related hazards and develop practical solutions for society.
